Iranian and Danish entrepreneurs signed on Tuesday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to broaden economic cooperation between the two countries.

The MoU was signed between Deputy Chairman of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) in charge of international Affairs Mohammad Reza Bakhtiari and Danish director general for Denmark’s industry confederation on the sidelines of the conference themed ‘Expansion of economic cooperation between Iran and Denmark’.
The Mou aims to broaden economic cooperation, exchange of goods, dispatch of commercial delegations and setting up of trade fairs between the two countries, he said.
Gathering on expansion of economic cooperation between Iran and Denmark kicked off in Tehran on Tuesday with participation of representatives from 60 Danish companies, headed by the country’s foreign minister.
Trade between the two countries rose from dlrs 70 million in 2000 to over dlrs 225 million in the year 2011.
