Polish-Iranian Economic Forum opened here on Monday attended by 180 Iranian and Polish economic figures.

Visiting Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif and Polish Under-secretary of State in the Ministry of Economic Development Pawel Chorazy zare scheduled to deliver speeches in the gathering.

The ways for fostering mutual cooperation and removing the obstacles hindering private sectors of the two countries would be addressed during the conference.

On Sunday, Zarif, heading a politico-economic delegation left Tehran for Europe. Warsaw, capital of Poland, is the first destination of Zarif’s four-nation tour to northern Europe.

A large group of economic and trade people are accompanying Zarif in his visits to Poland, Finland, Sweden and Latvia.

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski visited Iran on February 28, 2016 simultaneous with the 540th anniversary of establishment diplomatic relations between Iran and Poland.
