Iran’s Minister of Communication, Mahmoud Vaezi conferred on Thursday afternoon with the Swedish Minister of Civil Affairs Ardalan Shekarabi on expansion of economic and social affairs between the two countries.

In the meeting, Vaezi said Iran is to use Sweden’s invaluable e-government experiences for handling economic and social affairs.
Vaezi also briefed the Swedish minister on the latest achievements and the relative investments in the ICT in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Iran is in need of high tech countries to further develop in the field, Vaezi said.
The Swedish minister, for his part welcomed expansion of mutual cooperation in the field and said the EG is now rendering invaluable services in financial, educational, health and treatment as well as all affairs related to municipalities.
Sweden can easily put all its experiences at the disposal of the Islamic Republic of Iran, he said.
Sweden can also put its technical knowledge and services under EG to applicant companies in Iran, he said.
The international community should be duty bound to transfer such services to other societies and Sweden for its part is ready to fully cooperate with them, he said.
