Head of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture Mohsen Jalalpour said on Saturday that Iran and Swiss manufacturing companies would sign joint venture deals to produce goods for export to the regional markets.

He made the remarks in a meeting of Iran-Switzerland economic activists.
Jalalpour talked about old history of relations between the two countries dating back to the 17th century.
Switzerland immediately recognized Iran’s government following victory of Islamic Revolution and developed balanced relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran over the past three decades.
He appreciated the Swiss government for hosting nuclear negotiations in Geneva, saying that the Swiss government’s support to the nuclear talks is a memory which will remain.
He explained the capacities for economic between Iran and Switzerland, calling for activation of banking relations.
Cooperation on pharmaceutical and chemical industries, tourism, technology, environment, desalination of water are among the fields for joint venture cooperation, Jalalpour said.
