A gathering on Iran’s infrastructural plans was held on Tuesday in Rome.

Called ‘Roundtable on Iranian Infrastructures’, the gathering was aimed at introduction of infrastructural projects of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Italian investors and entrepreneurs.

The forum was organized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affair as well as Italian Construction Contractor’s Association (ANCE) and Italian Foreign Trade Promotion Agency (ICE) in Rome.

Iranian and Italian authorities and directors together with 250 Italian investors were present in this gathering.

The event took place following the visit to Iran by Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni and Trade Promotion Minister Federica Guidi and the financial delegation comprising of 300 Italian companies in major financial sectors headed by Carlo Calenda the Deputy Trade Promotion Minister in Tehran in the last August.

Iranian Ambassador to Italy Jahanbakhsh Mozafari emphasized on the fact that Italy has been pioneer in holding various trade, industrial, bank, infrastructural conferences in the recent months and has proved that they would be able to attain a special position in the new foreign relations era.
