Slovakian Ambassador to Iran Yan Buri, said on Saturday that Slovak businessmen are eager to make investment in Iranian province of Qazvin.

Speaking to Governor General of Qazvin Province Fereydoun Hemmati, the ambassador said that Slovakian businessmen are willing to develop cooperation with Qazvin Province in various fields, including auto manufacturing, road and railway transportation, mining and the water and energy infrastructure.
He said Slovakia has a high potentials to produce auto parts and it is interested in cooperation with Iranian industrialists and entrepreneurs.
He said that Qazvin Province is on neighborhood of Tehran and the ground is well- prepared for holding a commercial and economic conference in Tehran to explore the areas for economic cooperation between the Slovakian and Qazvini entrepreneurs.
He noted that Slovak government is also ready for scientific, research and technology cooperation with Qazvin Province.
Hemmati for his part welcomed Qazvin-Slovakia business ties and said the Islamic Republic of Iran is keen on foreign investment to help boost standard of life in Iran.
