The Iran and Italy inked four tourism and trade cooperation agreements here on Sunday.

The agreements were inked by the Iranian and visiting Italian officials on the sidelines of Iran and Italy trade conference in Tehran.

As per the agreements the two sides are obliged to foster relations in technical and scientific training, leather industry, tourism and economic cooperation.

Also present at the gathering was the deputy minister of industry, mine and trade.

Valiollah Afkhami-Rad said the two countries are keen to increase the level of trade volume which has declined to $1.5 billion in 2014.

He added the 370-member Italian delegation consists of 22 developmental associations and 11 banking groups.
