Iran resumed exporting natural gas at 30 mcm on Wednesday to neighboring Turkey via the trans-border pipeline following the repair of turbo-compressors on the Turkish side, said an official in the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC).
“After NIGC noticed the problem on Monday and announced it to the Turkish side, BOTAŞ Petroleum Pipeline Corporation fixed the problem and gas flow is back to 30 mcm,” NIGC’s dispatching director, Manuchehr Taheri, told Shana.
Operational workers, he added, are now busy with increasing the gasline pressure and stabilizing export to Turkey.
