Iranian Petroleum Minister Bijan Zangeneh said on Saturday that Iran is interested in developing cooperation in different energy fields with Sweden.
He made the remarks in a meeting with Swedish Energy Minister Ibrahim Baylan.
Zangeneh said that Iran and Sweden have record of cooperation in different energy fields so far and the Islamic Republic of Iran is keen on enhanced ties with Sweden.
Referring to the technology ties of Iran with the Swedish companies, he said that ASA and ABB of Sweden are currently active in Iran’s electricity sector.
Zangeneh said that Iran has longstanding cooperation with Sweden to manufacture the required machinery for the oil industry and that termination of the sanctions prepared the ground for the Swedish companies to cooperate with Iranian partners in post-sanctions era.
