Georgia’s Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze underlined the need for making optimum use of Iran’s existing potentials.

‘Iran is full of different natural reserves and Georgia can use them due to its geopolitical location,’ Kaladze said on Monday.

He reiterated that Georgia has planned to start negotiations with Iran on the landscape of economic cooperation with Iran.

‘We will negotiate with Iran not only on natural gas, but on the electricity,’ Kaladze added.

The Georgian energy minister is slated to visit Iran in the near future.
