Iranian Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare Ali Rabiei who is visiting Singapore has discussed ways of absorbing foreign investment with top officials of a Singapore-based asset management company.

During the meeting with Rabiei on Wednesday, officials of Oclaner Asset Management Ltd. said that their company is able to absorb three billion dollars of investment money for Iran projects.

Oclaner managers expressed readiness to cooperate with Iran’s Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare for financing the ministry’s affiliated companies and projects.

Rabiei leading a delegation of top commercial managers is now touring the city-state country in South-East Asia.

The Iranian delegation on Wednesday visited a big port in Singapore and got acquainted with its activities.

The visit by the Iranian official is taking place upon invitation by the head of Singapore port.
