The Amsterdam-based Philip Sidney company said it is planning to hold a workshop in Europe on reviewing Iran’s new oil and gas contracts models for interested parties in Europe.

Talking to Shana on the sidelines of the Iran Petroleum Contract (IPC) Conference in Tehran, the firm’s representative Gert Demmink said the workshop will be organized in the Netherlands or Britain next year.
“It will continue the discussion on the new contract models in a more technical and non-political setting,” he added.
IPC is a comprehensive model, Dimmink said, “We will review the issues of interest for National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and international firms in terms of technology transfer, financing, and role of banks, insurers, and export credit agencies.”
On the date of the workshop, he said it will be decided after framework of IPC model is finalized.
Representatives from 137 petroleum heavyweights including Royal Dutch Shell, Total and Lukoil, to name a very few, attended the IPC Conference in Tehran on November 28-29.
The representatives came from 45 countries. Totally, 335 companies have participated in the two-day event to be the first to know about the contract terms.
A follow-up conference will be held in London on February 22-24 after the IPC event in Tehran.
