Minister of Roads and Urban Development Abbas Akhundi in a meeting with Czech Minister of Industry and Trade of Czech Republic Jan Mladek said Iran enjoys an important role in connecting the East-West and North-South corridors.
He said Tehran and Prague can cooperate in infrastructure projects including road, marine, airport, and railroad transportations.
‘We welcome foreign investment in transportation projects,’ he added.
The Czech minister referred to the history of industrial cooperation between his country and Iran and stressed enhancement of ties following removal of sanctions.
Mladek is heading a 60-member trade and economic delegation during his visit to Iran.
