Iran and Russia signed two memorandum of understandings on Sunday on veterinary cooperation and support for mutual investment.
The documents were signed by officials of the two countries in a ceremony attended by Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi and Igor Shuvalov, the Russian first deputy prime minister.
A visit to Iran by Russian President Vladimir Putin last year marked a new chapter in Tehran-Moscow cooperation.
Based on a document signed between Tehran and Moscow in a three-day meeting of Iran-Russia Joint Economic Cooperation Commission on November 13, the two governments agreed on enhanced cooperation in different areas.
