Managing Director of the National Iranian Gas Company Hamid Reza Araqi made the announcement talking to IRNA.
Due grounds will be prepared for exporting Iran’s gas after the gas production in the country reaches one billion cubic meters per day, said Araqi.
Iran is ready to export gas to Pakistan, but Islamabad has not completed that part of the project in its soil, said he.
Indians, he said, are also interested in importing Iran’s gas but they are not willing to do so through Pakistan route.
About new Iran-Iraq agreement on exporting Iran’s gas to Iraq’s Basra, the official said Iran will daily export 25 million cubic meters of gas to south of Iraq according to the agreement.
At present, China is a good market for those countries which export natural gas.
