Head of Iran National Carpet Center Hamid Kargar described Iran’s hand-woven carpets as transporter and initiator of Persian culture to all over the world.
Kargar made that description here Monday evening at a local related gathering.
Referring to the hand-made Iranian carpet as a cultural envoy, Kargar called for respecting such valuable Iranian art.
Pointing to efforts have been made to make copies of the hand-made Iranian carpets and enter them to the global markets, the official said the Iranian art will shine any way due to its authenticity.
