A group of businesspersons, companies and financial institutions in Singapore called for establishment of joint chamber of commerce, investment and tourism between Iran and Singapore.
The demand was put forward on Friday at a conference on getting familiarized with investment and trade opportunities in Iran.
The conference was held due at the request of Singaporean trade officials who expressed willingness to exchange cooperation with the Iranian side.
At the conference, Iran’s Ambassador to Singapore Javad Ansari elaborated on the current situation in Iran regarding the positive atmosphere created after the July 14 nuclear agreement with the six world powers.
Ansari said there are considerable economic capacities in Iran, adding Tehran supports bilateral cooperation with Singapore.
