Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh said Iran and Sweden are to cooperate in such areas as energy consumption, petrochemical projects and making machinery and equipment.
In a meeting with Sweden’s Minister for Enterprise and Innovation Mikael Damberg here on Sunday, Zangeneh expressed hope that the removal of unjust sanctions against Iran will lead to expansion of bilateral relations.
Referring to past cooperation between the two countries in providing machinery needed by the oil industry, he said this will certainly increase in post-sanctions years.
He also pointed to petrochemicals as another area of mutual cooperation and said Iran could lower the consumption level of its old trucks using the technology Sweden can offer.
