A memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for joint venture investment by Italian Companies of Dynkun and Genesis and Qazvin Governerate General to build 100 solar power plants was signed on Sunday afternoon.

The MoU was signed by representative of Qazvin Governorate General Mohammad Ali Qassemi and Managing Director of Electricity Distribution Company of Qazvin Saeed Chegini and presidents of Italian companies of Dynkun Carmelito Denaro and president of Genesis Company Ali Setayesh.
According to the MoU the two sides undertook to implement projects to build 100 solar power plants with total capacity of 1,000 megawatts and by investment of 1.5 billion dollars.
The projects are to be done during 9 to 10 years.
Chegini told reporters on the sidelines of the signing ceremony that one of the goals for the projects is to generate clean energy without pollution.
